Let's start from the beginning

Pregnancy Notes Weeks 4-20                     

We found out I was pregnant, Friday July 12^th.  My first OB appointment was August 14^th. During the exam the doctor was a little concerned that my uterus felt so small. She was doubtful there was a viable pregnancy. She brought in her trusty ultrasound machine and took a look. Sure enough there was one beating heart and baby measuring right on track. 8 weeks. We did not announce our pregnancy to family until I hit the 12 week mark, and then we did not announce to friends, coworkers, acquaintances until close to 20 weeks. We had a few complications and I was unsure we would make it to viability. It is easier for me to process things internally. Once we hit 20 weeks I felt much more comfortable announcing.
