Dr Appt update as of Friday January 10th. Baby is
still measuring on the smaller side. Scheduling an ultrasound to check fluids
and growth for next appointment.
Still feeling great. My belly seems bigger this pregnancy to me, however I am measuring much smaller - how does that happen?
Having fears of my water breaking at any moment. I am not
ready to meet this baby yet. I need time to prepare myself and I would like a healthy newborn, so praying we can hang on until at least 34 weeks.
Nursing is still going strong which is one of the hard parts about this pregnancy. It is now causing contractions - intense contractions and well I am on medications and monitors to STOP the contractions so I can see this ending not so well. Emotionally or physically. I still keep hoping and praying my daughter will wean herself. The less traumatic the better for both of us.
Still need advice on a double stroller. My preference is the Baby Jogger GT double. However is side by side better or tandem. Any moms out there with 2 under 2? or two 2 and under (as my daughter turned 20 months last week and will be hopefully 21 or 22 months when baby #2 makes their appearance). That being said she is tiny, think the size of a 12 month old. Advice is greatly appreciated, in regards to the stroller issue. What works best for this age range? Activity? Storage size is not an issue for us however.

So I would vote for a tandem. Side by side is too wide for shopping aisles and passing people on side walks. But I found that I liked to wear baby and just use my single stroller for Henry. We have a side by side double but I've hardly used it. We just started using a sit and stand stroller when William was about 8 months olds. So he would sit in the front and Henry could sit or stand on the back. That way Henry could get out to walk if he wanted. I also really like using the wagon for them now that William can sit up on his own safely in it. Maybe you don't need a double stroller! We were given both of ours for free as hand-me- downs. I wouldn't have bought one.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the advice. Definately something to think about.... The only real reason I am thinking I'll need one is if I decide to run with the kiddos but that obviously wouldnt start for a while. We may hold off and see how it works out with our single. I did end up not using a stroller with my eldest until she was close to a year. She prefered the moby and so did I!
DeleteSo awesome that you are still nursing! Tanner weaned himself at 23 months and it was perfect - no pain, no anything negative. We got the Baby Jogger double stroller for Christmas... obviously haven't tried it out with 2, but pushing around the house was awesome! It moves like a dream!
