On My Mind...

There is so much on my mind these days. So much that I am still trying to wrap my head around. You always think, that won't happen to me and then you are blindsided when it does.

Then on top of that I am a government employee. You can guess how much this fiasco is thought about, angered over and prayed on. I have been lucky thus far, I am considered essential therefore I am working - however we are not guarenteed to get paid on time. Congress did manage to aprpove the bill that states we will get paid back, but when is the question. I am so angry that these people cannot manage to come together and do the job that they were voted by us to do (all the while still getting paid conveniently).

The weather has turned fall like overnight and I believe the girl and I are getting sick! UGH!

However pumpkin patches, lattes and lots of pictures to be had this coming long weekend and for that I am thankful. (Perhaps even a zoo date, who wants to join us??)

I may have some exciting news in the near future. So keep a look out for that.

In the mean time I will be doing some online Christmas shopping since this season will be busy with sticky fingers, hunting the hillside for a perfect tree, lots of DIY crafts and baking - no time to be wasted shopping. I want to get all of that done BEFORE or shortly after Thanksgiving (hello black Friday).
